M1030 Mote The Dust Networks’ SmartMesh-XT™ M1030 mote allows OEMs to build solutions for the North American market using 900 MHz radios coupled with the industry-leading Time Synchronized Mesh Protocol (TSMP) to provide unmatched network reliability and ultra-low power consumption. The M1030 is tailored for use in battery- and line-powered wireless devices for applications that demand proven performance, scalability and reliability. The M1030 uses a 900 MHz radio to achieve up to 200-meter communication distance outdoors, while consuming as little as 40 uA in a typical network deployment. The combination of extremely high reliability and low power consumption enables applications that require very low installation cost for long-term, low-maintenance deployments. The M1030 comes with analog, digital, or serial interfaces, which gives it the flexibility to be used in a wide variety of applications, including industrial process monitoring, building control, machine health monitoring and others. When integrated into a product, the M1030 acts like a network interface card (NIC) – ensuring that data packets successfully traverse the network. By creating a “plug and play” environment, SmartMesh-XT products enabled by TSMP accelerate and simplify the process and reduce network risk with minimal user involvement. |
