Joy Weiss
President and CEO
In the past 20 years, Joy Weiss has provided leadership for a broad range
of technology companies. Joy was steeped in networking technologies early
in her career in a variety of R&D, sales and general management roles
at Nortel Networks, including her role as President and GM of Nortel’s
Network Management division where she presided over record-breaking growth.
As President and CEO of Esker, Joy led the enterprise software company through
its IPO and subsequent merger with Teubner, Inc. Most recently, Joy served
as President and CEO of Inviso, an award-winning microdisplay company, where
she raised over $30 Million in venture funding. Joy holds a BS in electrical
engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Kris Pister
Founder and CTO
The inventor of Smart Dust and a longtime leader in the academic wireless
sensor networking community, Kris Pister co-founded Dust Networks in 2002
to deliver his vision of a commercially robust wireless sensor networking
platform. Kris is the chief architect of Dust Networks’ patent pending
Dust SmartMesh™ technology, and also provides a strong technology
vision for the company and for the wireless sensing industry- Kris is a
frequent invited speaker and lecturer on wireless sensor networking and
related core technologies. Prior to joining Dust, Kris successfully commercialized
or licensed micromachine technologies with Tanner Research, OMM Inc., Xactix,
and Sony. Kris holds a PhD and MS in electrical engineering and computer
sciences from UC Berkeley and a BS from UC San Diego.

Tissa Senevirathne
Vice President, Engineering
As Vice President of Engineering, Tissa brings over 20 years of engineering management and
development experience to Dust Networks. Prior to Joining Dust, Tissa worked as Vice
President of Engineering for Business Products at NetGear and was responsible for Software,
Hardware and Test Engineering of Switching, Wireless and Security products. In this role,
he made significant improvements in product performance, overall quality and customer satisfaction.
Tissa joined NetGear from Extreme Networks where he served as Director of Engineering for ExtremeWare
and wireless platform development. Earlier experience includes engineering management roles at
Force10 Networks and Nortel Networks, where he pioneered Virtual Private LAN Switching (VPLS) and
coauthored the Internet Engineering Task Force's (IETF) RFC 4664 and RFC 4665.

Steve Toteda
Vice President, Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing, Steve brings over 18 years of marketing and
technical experience in the wireless and wireline communications equipment and
semiconductor industries to Dust Networks. Most recently, he served as group
manager for the IP Communications Terminals product group at Cisco Systems,
where he focused on delivering enabling technology and IP telephony products
to the market, and rapidly grew top-line revenues for Cisco’s award winning
line of wired and wireless IP phones and terminal adaptors. Prior to Cisco,
Steve served as vice president of sales and marketing for Komodo Technology,
a leading developer of IP telephony products, which was acquired by Cisco.
Prior roles included senior engineering and product management with LSI Logic,
Cirrus Logic and Harmonic Lightwaves. In addition to his role at Dust Networks,
Steve serves as a board member of WINA, the Wireless Industrial Networking Alliance.
Steve holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering from Lehigh University, and an
MBA from Columbia Business School.

Eva Chen
Vice President, Operations
As Vice President of Operations, Eva brings over 25 years of Operations and Quality
Management experience in the high-technology market, with expertise in new product
introduction, offshore manufacturing, strategic vendor partnerships, quality management and
customer service. Prior to Dust Networks, Eva most recetly served as Director of Customer
Experience at Intuit. Prior to Intuit, Eva held a variety of roles at both large companies
and start-ups, including Vice President of Manufacturing at New Wave Research, Vice
President of Operations at Inviso, Director of Engineering at ABB, and Chief Operating
Officer at Wise Medical Systems. Earlier in her career, Eva held management roles at E-Mu
systems, NeXT Computers, and ROLM Corporation. Eva holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Brenda Glaze
Vice President, Sales
As Vice-President of Sales, Brenda brings two decades of networking, computing
and consumer customer sales success to Dust Networks. She has extensive
experience in building and managing world class field organizations, as
well as experience in the startup environment. Most recently Brenda served
as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Chelsio Communications. Prior
to that, she was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for C-Cube Microsystems,
Inc--a leader in digital video technology (acquired by LSI Logic). From
1993 to 1998, Brenda held a variety of sales/sales management positions
with VLSI Technology (acquired by Philips Semiconductor), ending her tenure
at VLSI as the Vice-President of Sales for Western North America. Brenda
received her BS in Business Management from Arizona State University.

Dave Lynch
Vice President, Finance & Administration
Vice President of Finance Dave Lynch brings 10 years of experience to
the administration of accounting and human resources. Prior to joining
Dust Networks, Dave served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice
President of Finance and Alliances for Zack Systems, where he directed
financial services and human resources. Dave also worked for Assurance
and Emerging Company Services divisions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP,
where he was responsible for software and internet corporations. Previously,
he served as Vice President of Well Fargo’s East Bay small business
financing unit where he sourced and closed over $20 million in commitments.
Dave holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA in history and
business from UCLA.
